As with all Iron Strike wood stoves, your Striker S160 features a ceramic-fibre blanket, which utilizes NASA-developed technology with 10 times the insulation value of firebrick. The blanket radiates heat back into the firebox for greater efficiencies and lower emissions.
The Iron Strike-designed refractory baffle helps to ignite the fuel-rich gases in your stove, which in turn increases efficiency and lowers emissions.
The stainless steel afterburner tubes mix oxygen with unburned gases and smoke to create a secondary burn source that will lower your fuel costs.
